1What we collect
Lead Engine collects only the information we need to provide our services to you:
- Information you submit: company name, your name and title, work email or WhatsApp number, main product category, target market, and competitors (optional)
- Information generated automatically: access logs and basic analytics (page views, referral source, device type), used to improve the website
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, bank account details or biometric data.
2How we use it
- To prepare the AI Visibility Audit Report you requested
- To discuss the audit results with you and confirm your target category and competitor list
- With your consent, to propose follow-up services
We never sell or rent your information, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
3Business outreach for our clients
Our outbound line sends business emails on behalf of our clients. If you received one of these emails, this section explains how your information is handled.
- What we use: business contact details only (name, job title, company, work email) and company information, taken from commercial B2B data providers and public sources such as company websites, trade directories and industry publications.
- Why (legal basis): legitimate interest in business-to-business communication that is relevant to your role (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We contact work addresses of people whose role relates to the client's products. We do not email consumers or personal addresses.
- Opting out: every email identifies the sender, includes a postal address and lets you opt out by replying "unsubscribe" or using the opt-out link. We stop contacting you within 2 business days and add your address to a suppression list that applies to every campaign we run.
- Your rights: you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it or object to further contact at any time by emailing sales@ileadengine.com.
- Retention: outreach contact data is kept for the duration of the campaign and deleted within 12 months of the last contact. Suppression-list entries are kept so that we never contact you again.
This approach is designed to meet the GDPR, the UK GDPR and PECR, the US CAN-SPAM Act and Canada's CASL for business-to-business email.
4Your rights (including GDPR)
If you are in the EU or the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the GDPR. We also comply with China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and extend the same rights to anyone it covers.
- Right to be informed and right of access: know what information we hold about you and request a copy
- Right to rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Right to erasure (right to be forgotten): ask us to delete your information
- Right to restrict processing and right to object: ask us to stop or limit processing
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a commonly used format
- Right to withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@ileadengine.com. We respond within 30 days.
6Retention and security
Audit-related information is kept for 24 months from our last contact with you and then deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
The entire site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored with Netlify (United States), and access is limited to the Lead Engine staff who need it.
